Visit Bend asked us to create a new logo design for their highly successful Bend Ale Trail marketing initiative. It combined four of our favorite things: Bend, drinking beer, exploring trails, and logo design. Pretty much a dream job. Cheers!

Before transforming into 22ºNorth, Gaylord’s at Kilohana was known as the expensive restaurant to go to only for your special occasions. The owners came to us knowing that they wanted to make a change, but weren’t sure how to go about it. We worked with them to rebrand and reopen as 22º North. This logo design won a 2010 Honolulu Advertising Federation “Pele” Award.

Honolulu Cookie Company makes incredible shortbread cookies. Period. Every cookie flavor they create goes through many months of creating and testing before they ever hit the shelves. We were recommended to them by a business associate to assist them in identifying their brand, and updating their look and feel. Upon completion of an intense multi-day brand seminar, a new brand position was born that bore the fruit of a logomark and new packaging designs. Bon appetit!

Mojo cannabis-infused craft sodas are magic in a bottle! These delicious sodas enchant and delight the taste-buds, bringing retail customers back time and time again. Infused with 10mg to 100mg of full-spectrum cannabis, these artfully crafted sodas are infused with classic flavors that customers in Washington love.

In 1971 the Trails Act was passed by the Oregon State Legislature and in 2021 we were asked to create a logo to celebrate the creation of this state-wide trail system known as “Oregon Recreational Trails”. This logo was part of a larger communication project which included a social media tool kit and a series of videos which were presented at the virtual trail summit.

CannaFacts is a brand we created for the Deschutes County Illegal Marijuana Market Enforcement collaborative. The purpose of the project is to provide education and community outreach to address illegal cannabis in our community.

Tumalo Creek’s 20th anniversary is in 2020, and they were looking to refresh their existing logo to bring it more in line with current design aesthetics. Keeping the feel of the original logo illustration, while updating the font with some personality, the new logo pays homage to their history while presenting an updated image. We hope it serves them well for another 20 years!

When our good friend James Wilson invented a unique new pedal design he called us to give him a hand with the design of an identity and logomark. The collaboration lead to a very successful new product launch and Pedaling Innovations is literally off to the races.

We had delivered a successful logomark for their other restaurant, Anuenue Cafe, and the owners came back to us to assist with another logomark when they decided to open a seconds restaurant on Kauai - The Imu Bar + Restaurant.

PhysioKids provides expert pediatric physical therapy in Central Oregon, helping children reach important developmental milestones with care and compassion. They needed a logo that would reflect their mission—supporting children’s journeys to wellness in a bright and optimistic way. Delicious designed a logo that beautifully captures the essence of Central Oregon, integrating the iconic Cascade Mountains and Deschutes River within a leaf shape that symbolizes growth and new beginnings. The result is a warm, inviting brand identity that resonates with families and communicates PhysioKids’ commitment to making every step toward health a joyful one.

After searching and searching for the perfect name, our client landed on Kinergy for her new line of Kombucha beverages. The symbol reflects a scientific approach with atoms careening about to create the “K” for her new logomark.

When we did the initial logomark for this black pearl company in Tahiti, the full business name was Tahia Collins. Since then, a few things changed on the client side, so we reworked the logomark to be just “Tahia,” which means “princess in Tahitian. Thus, she is the “Princess of Pearls.”

In previous iterations of the Lappert’s Hawaii logomark, the founder, Walter Lappert, was very prominent. Once Walter retired, it was time to start minimizing his image, move him into the founder role, and make the name more prominent. We also started leveraging the newly developed brand essence and bringing it alive in the new logomark and across all of the consumer touch points.

Designed for a fun-loving couple that owned this small bed and breakfast down in Poipu who have since retired, this logomark was created in 1993 and is still one of our favorites. Timeless.

Hanalei Poi is made from Taro grown in the lush Hanalei Valley on the island of Kauai. Their logo was stuck in the past — but their heritage is a crucial part of their brand — so we updated the logo while keeping its roots firmly planted in Hawaii’s past.

The Team at Delicious helped these great local realtors to brand — and name — their new partnership here in Bend, Oregon. After we presented eight strong concepts for their new logo, they honed in on a single direction which we then refined to arrive at this vibrant, modern logomark which you see here.

Located on Maui, Hana Organics came to us with a kernel of an idea and wanted us to execute it for them. This logomark is the culmination of that partnership.

Truss Systems Hawaii has been Maui’s trusted leader in truss manufacturing for over 25 years, with a legacy built on quality, integrity, and over 20,000 completed projects. They needed a logo that reflected their strength and reliability—something bold, sturdy, and unmistakable. Delicious delivered with a powerful design featuring extruded typography in bold red and black, embodying the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence. The new logo stands as a visual representation of their promise to provide the highest quality components and professional service to builders across Hawaii.

This annual festival brings luminaries from the music industry to Kauai for a week of workshops and events. The identity design we created for the festival won a 2004 Hawaii Advertising Federation Award of Merit.

After the “Smith’s Motor Boat Services, Inc.” umbrella brand was approved, we drilled down to each of the unique services that they offered. The two logomarks shown here represent: Smith’s Family Garden Luau and Smith’s Fern Grotto Wailua River Cruise. They also have a wedding business and botanical garden which are not included here.

Splash Cafe, a charming spot located on Kalapaki Beach, needed a logo that would capture their fun and inviting atmosphere. Delicious designed a playful yet sophisticated logo featuring a stylized mermaid lounging atop the cafe’s name, bringing a sense of coastal whimsy and adventure. The vibrant blue and green color palette evokes the ocean and tropical surroundings, while the bold typography adds a touch of classic charm. Perfectly aligned with the cafe’s focus on fresh French crepes and quick bites for beachgoers, the logo conveys a friendly, approachable feel that resonates with locals and visitors alike.

This online purveyor of Pacific Islander artifacts came to us for a logomark reminiscent of a bygone era. The end result was also used on t-shirts that were a huge hit. Winner of a 1999 Honolulu Advertising Federation Award of Excellence.

This is a project that never got fully funded through their venture capitalists, but we did get to do a cool identity for the site. Poidog was going to be a classified listing site covering everything from soup to nuts, thus the name “Poidog!”

When Hanalima Bakery approached us for help, they already had a loyal local following because of their exceptionally delicious cookies, cakes, and breads (and awesome plate lunches too!). All they needed to take their business to the next level was a strong logo with a personality that matched the quality of their products.

Wahoo Films is a full service video production company. They create films that inspire, educate, and motivate your audience, and needed a logo that would convey the energy that they bring to your video project.

The brand position for this client dictated that the logomark should appeal to visitors and locals alike. Created in the shape of an event ticket, the logomark also sports an interesting detail. Can you see the five pairs of “slippers” in the flower shape?

Fresh seafood. That should be what you think of when you see this logomark. They specialize in preparing seven to eight different fresh seafood dishes every night with special sauces prepared fresh every day. Yummy good!

Hawaiian Volcanic Artesian Water is a Big Island company which sells bulk and bottled water from a natural aquifer on the island of Hawaii. This natural beverage is rich in minerals and has a high pH factor giving it a crisp, sweet, and refreshing taste. This logo design captures the essence of the relationship between evaporating sea water, upland showers, and the land—which make the product unique.

The logo design for the Royal Coconut Coast of Kauai captures the fun, approachable, ocean-front nature of the area—with a nod to the coconut plantations which lend their unique flavor to the region.

Hi‘olani, a full-service Hawaii vacation rental management company, entrusted Delicious to create a brand identity that conveyed their dedication to seamless property management and exceptional guest experiences. We designed a logo that captures the essence of Hawaiian hospitality—balancing elegance and professionalism with a touch of island charm. Since 2009, Hi‘olani’s brand has represented reliability and comprehensive care, offering property owners peace of mind while ensuring unforgettable stays for their guests.

“Happy Horses” are alive and well at Silver Falls Ranch. The waterfall in the logomark is actually located on the property. I’d be a happy horse if I lived there.

Stroke Awareness Oregon is a non-profit Central Oregon organization committed to reducing the impact of stroke through education and awareness. Our logo design solution literally encourages people to think about stroke.

The Maha‘ulepu Heritage Trail, a breathtaking two-mile coastal path along Kauai’s rugged southern cliffs, needed a logo that would honor the area’s natural beauty and cultural significance. Delicious created an intricate and meaningful design, incorporating iconic elements such as native flora, ocean waves, and wildlife, including the honu (sea turtle), to reflect the trail’s connection to the land and sea. With its organic, hand-drawn style and earthy tones, the logo perfectly captures the trail’s spirit of exploration and preservation.

Mauna Kea Tea approached Delicious Design when they needed to enhance the presentation of their brand and logo to match the premium quality of the products they grow, package, and sell.

Like most farms, Kauai Organic Farms got by for many years with a “stock” clip-art style logo — they thrived because they have a great product and loyal customers. These days, that’s not enough. To compete in a global marketplace you have to leverage a strong brand to attract new customers and strengthen your connection with existing ones. We designed this farm-style logo to have a touch of heritage and capture the topical tone associated with a farm in the islands.

Fresh produce is abundant on the Garden Isle, so creating a fresh looking logo that would attract consumers to the island-wide sunshine markets that are open to the public all around the island on different days of the week was like shooting papayas in a barrel.

Pipeline Bakery has tasty treats and they needed a tasty logo to go along with them.

The Luau at Kilohana needed to set itself apart from all the other ‘me too’ luau experiences in Hawaii and they came to us for help. Along with their management team, we turned what was a ‘typical’ Hawaiian luau into a unique ‘Sugar-Era Experience’ which stood apart and grabbed the visitors’ attention. This logo design was part of an award-winning campaign to re-brand the business.

The owner took over an existing retail location and needed to take a stand for re-evaluation with local consumers, so she contacted us to design a new logomark for her shop.

Just down the street from our office when we lived on Kauai, Kalaheo Cafe & Coffee Company is a local hangout in beautiful upcountry Kalaheo, Kauai. Serving an awesome breakfast and lunch menu — we frequent it regularly when we return to Kauai. When they relocated “up” the street in their new building, they made a shift in their name to focus more on the food and less on the coffee aspect, and needed a new logomark, brochure, print and radio ads. They came to the right place. All were accomplished in a short period of time, and also to meet their resource allocations.

Airborne Aviation was looking to expand into scenic air tours so we worked with them to come up with a logo that would work for both sides of their business - government and tourism services.

This logomark was actually illustrated the old fashioned way, then digitized and enhanced. Our illustrator used this specific style because it best fit the client’s brand. One unexpected result was that the Executive Chef liked it so much, he had it embroidered on his chef’s coat.

This logo represents the spirit of the water, the island, and the owner. It needed to feel organic, flowy and trustworthy – all at the same time.

The Kuhio Auto Group is the largest auto dealership on Kauai, Hawaii. With the most inventory of any car dealer, they’ve secured the top spot on the island — and with strong marketing they’re able to attract the customers needed to sustain that leadership position. This logomark design gives the group a strong, consistent, and identifiable position in the marketplace.

Kiahuna Golf Club came to us with a request to create a logo that would be more representative of their golf course. We spent some time out on the course and came up with this serene logomark.

Our good friends Caroline and Ernie opened up this fabulous new neighborhood steakhouse just around the corner from our office. This is the logo we designed for them based on their input of what they wanted the logo to represent.

Fair Wind came to us looking to upgrade their image because they were adding a more high-end ship to their already successful fleet. We came back to them with several options, from which they choose this “navigator” style mark.

Magic Island Sailing Foundation’s mission is to provide free sailing lessons to financially disadvantaged children, and they came to Delicious Design to help them with a logomark that would help to easily identify the organization. The friendly font and calm waters did the trick; appealing to both the children, their parents, and potential donors.

We created this bright and colorful new logo for Kauai Vacation Tours — a vacation activity service on the island of Kauai.

The FreeTradeZone logomark was developed in the early 90s for a company called Partminer who was launching a new online electronic components store.

We worked with the owners and management team of Outfitters Kauai on a new brand position, and once that was completed, this new logomark emerged from the findings of that collaboration.

We were a client of Curtis Law’s, then he was a client of ours. This construction company logo is timeless and represents the quality of their work.

The logo we developed for Hawaiian Volcano Sea Salt captures the raw, rough character of their Hawaii-made smoked sea salts and culinary seasonings. The self-contained shape allows our client to easily apply the new brand identity to a variety of products and marketing materials.

MethodIT came to Delicious Design when they needed to update their brand in order to appeal to a new market in the competitive Honolulu IT business. This logo design captures the “industrial strength IT for business” position they’ve adopted.

A boutique cookie maker from the island of Oahu came to us when she wanted to upgrade the look and feel of her company. This delicious logomark has a bright tropical feeling and shape of the Hawaiian archipelago has been captured in the ‘crumbs’ of the cookie.

We developed this logomark for Bali Hai’s Vacation Rental Division. Our goal was to design an identity which would compliment the brand position that Bali Hai had cultivated over 30 years of doing business on Kauai’s North Shore — while creating an image that would resonate with the Hawaii visitors’ sense of adventure and discovery.

The Hawaii Coffee Connection hired us to create a logo for their online business which is based in Kona. They offer a wide variety of Hawaiian foods, sauces, condiments, and coffees. The logo needed to quickly capture a feeling of the islands and establish a sense of trust that would inspire online purchases from customers who had no previous contact with the brand.

Business coach and consultant Marilyn Allen helps organizations to find their “true north” and that idea is captured in this simple, clean, upscale logo.

This ‘logomark’ was developed to go on a souvenir pin which the Kauai Visitors Bureau hands out at various industry trade shows and events. It captures many of the unique natural elements associated with Kauai in a petroglyph illustration style which is indigenous to Hawaii.

Kauai Custom Landscaping changed their name and needed a new logomark - so they called Delicious. We worked with them to understand their needs and delivered a stunning new logo for their shirts, hats, trucks and website.

When you’re flying around in an airplane, you feel free as a bird, and the tropic bird included in AirVentures Hawaii’s logomark is part of the local culture.

Kawaikini is a Hawaiian Charter School on the island of Kauai. The logomark is derived from the name, and supports the mission and vision of the organization. Because they are a non-profit entity, we provided our services at a reduced rate in an effort to give back to the community.

This client found us on the internet and loved our logo design work. They contracted with us to develop a logomark with t-shirt sales in mind. This illustrated logo was a huge hit with visitors to their hotel who gobbled up all the shirts so fast that they placed a double order on the second run.

The company name - Ingage - is a play on engage and was created for a woman who brought mentoring to life online.

Once the brand position was approved, we provided the client with several naming options. The original name proposed was Pacific Tile Traders. The client eventually decided on just Pacific Tile for her name, and then we designed this very creative mosaic-like logomark to represent her business.

The client had been using the fish in the logomark for over 20 years and asked that we please incorporate it into the new logomark, so we accommodated his request. Appropriately designed also as a drink coaster, Brennecke’s serves a mean mai tai.

What do you think of when you think of trusses? We thought “strong.” So, the logo had to feel strong. We think we succeeded, but more importantly, the client’s customers got it.

Holo Holo’s previous logo design was of a petroglyph turtle, but once we completed the brand position and discovered that their brand was actually based on being fast, we knew the turtle had to go.

We created this new logo for the Kauai Made® program to give them a stronger, more legible, more “hand crafted” feel. The symbol is a “ho’okupu” or “honored gift” which was traditionally an item of exceptional value which had been wrapped in a ti leaf lei.

Anuenue means ‘rainbow’ in the Hawaiian language and it’s a fitting name for this cute café located in Poipu Beach on the Island of Kauai. They’re famous for fresh and healthy breakfast and lunch options like Macadamia Nut French Toast, Acai Bowls, and of course the Fricken Chicken Sando.

In 2015 we worked with the Flex Auto Group of Japan to create an array of brand identity options. In that process we presented them with sixteen varied logo designs — and the attached is one of our favorites.
